Lithium Sorption/Desorption in Some Alkaline Soils: Modeling of the Kinetics Behavior

Abstract Global concern over lithium (Li) in the environment has significantly increased due to its widespread uses. However, literature review on Li kinetics alkaline soils is scant. Hence, batch experiments were conducted quantify and simulate retention release of sandy clay loam soils. Sorption isotherms fitted using Freundlich Langmuir equations. Second-order two site (SOTS) multi-reaction (MRM) models applied sorption/desorption kinetic data.
